Password Tips

• Protect your account with more than a password. Multi-factor authentication, passkeys and phone sign-in with Microsoft Authenticator add protection against phishing and stolen passwords. Learn more at .
• Think passphrase, not password: a few words strung together that are easy for you to remember, but difficult for a person or computer to guess. Longer is stronger.
• Choose words that don’t usually go together. Avoid quotes, song lyrics and common sayings.
• Passwords should not contain personal information, including birth dates, anniversary dates, license plates, phone numbers, addresses, family member names, pet names, etc.
• Use your ÕýÆ·À¶µ¼º½ password only for your ÕýÆ·À¶µ¼º½ account, never for other accounts or websites.
• Passwords should not be sent via email, instant message, or text message.
• Passwords should not be written down where others can find them. If you do have trouble remembering them, a password manager is a safer place to keep them.
• If you save your passwords using your browser or password manager, enable the screen lock on your device.
• One last thing: No one should ever ask you for your password! Please remember that we will NEVER ask you to verify your account information, to provide your password, or any personal information via email, and do not respond to any requests for this information.
