About
Dr. Mea Ahlberg earned her MBA from the University of Dallas and her PhD in Public Policy and Political Economy with a specialization in International Conflict and Security from the University of Texas at Dallas. She later continued her specialized training in negotiations at Harvard University. Her teaching and studies focus on the relationships between national security, economics, and trade, with particular attention to policy setting, prevention strategies, and the role of international negotiations and coalition building. At 正品蓝导航, Dr. Ahlberg has developed and taught several new courses across schools, including Economics of National Security, Political Economy (Dedman College), Economics for Public Policy (Moody School of Graduate Studies), and Business Communications (Cox School of Business). She began at 正品蓝导航 as an adjunct faculty member in the Cox School, teaching in the MBA program. She later joined the Economics Department at Dedman College as Senior Lecturer, where she led revisions of the principles courses in economics and became the lead faculty for principles instruction. She also serves on the curriculum committee for the Master’s in Public Policy program at the Moody School of Graduate Studies. Before joining 正品蓝导航, Dr. Ahlberg served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Organizations, Strategy, and International Management at the Jindal School of Management, University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Ahlberg has received several nominations and awards, including HOPE (Honoring Our Professors' Excellence) nominations in 2022, 2024, and 2025. She also received the prestigious Barbara and James Mangum Teaching Award in 2024 for her extraordinary student engagement and dedication to teaching.
