Escape Velocity is a vertical, endless scrolling mobile game made for Android tablets using the Unity engine. Controlling a spaceship while working to avoid obstacles in a mission to evade capture from an alien ship, the player wins by achieving warp speed.

David Rosario, who served as both Assistant Team Lead and Artist/Animator discusses lessons learned while developing this game, which for most team members was their first game to ever make.

"The greatest success of this project was our ability to remain true to the original vision of the project. Production began with a single concept, create a simple, arcade-style endless runner. The team was able to remain consistent with this vision through several iterations of gameplay and aesthetics."
